PayPal has regained the top spot from upstart Lemon Wallet as the most downloaded financial services app last week.
Lemon had grabbed the No. 1 spot after it pushed out a new update that adjusted the app for the newly introduced Apple iOS 6.

Their timing is good: Smartphones are taking a bite out of the family budget — spending on cellphone services is up 4% over last year.
Lemon Wallet dropped back down to the No. 7 spot after a week at No. 1. The Top 10 was relatively stable, but Bank of America climbed two spots to No. 2, American Express went up three spots to No. 6, and Mint.com climbed two positions to the No. 5 spot.
PNC Mobile (last updated August 24th) climbed five spots to land at No. 13. Yahoo! Finance dropped five spots to No. 15. Barclaycard rejoined the Top 20 after a week in the wilderness and landed at No. 16. (It was at No. 15 two weeks ago.) Zillow Mortgage Calculator is a newcomer at No. 20.
