Top Financial Apps for the iPhone
Mobile banking is big, and getting bigger all the time. With one in five smartphone owners using their phones to access their bank accounts, and with banking apps being safer than traditional online banking, it doesn’t take Nostradamus to see that mobile is a monster and will only continue to grow.
To that end, we’ve put together a list of the 20 most popular free Financial apps for the iPhone, as compiled by the fine folks at AppShopper. The rankings update every 24 hours, but we’ll post them on a weekly basis here at Bank Innovation. The number in parentheses indicates movement up or down the list. Here they are, as of 9 AM Friday morning:

There’s been little movement in the Top 10 since the previous day, with PayPal continuing to hold the top spot. Capital One and Credit Karma exchanged spots in the No. 5 and No. 6 positions, and SunTrust rose eight spots to enter the Top 10.
TD Ameritrade’s mobile app had a good day Thursday, leaping up 57 spots to knock on the door of the Top 10. The Fidelity Investments app rose 4 spots to rest at No. 15. The week’s biggest loser was Lemon.com Wallet, which dropped six spots to the 19th position.
