Business Inflation Expectations Dip in January

According to the Atlanta Fed’s monthly business inflation expectations (BIE) survey, firms anticipate 1.8 percent inflation over the next 12 months. Firms also expect their unit costs to increase 3 percent per year over the next five to 10 years.
