Apple wasn’t the only company to suffer a security breach in the last few days.
You may have noticed some garbled posts employing broken English and offering for sale Louis Vuitton handbags and Christian Louboutin shoes on our site earlier today. Clearly those posts were not from Bank Innovation.
The three posts in question came in through our RSS feed via our partnership with GonzoBanker, whose site appears to have suffered a breach of some kind, allowing spam posts to be published. We have removed the posts from our site and alerted GonzoBanker of the issue. We sincerely apologize for befuddling you today.
This is yet another sign of the ongoing Age of Security Wars. Whether it is Apple’s security flaws in iCloud, Russians hacking JPMorgan Chase or Bank Innovation finding Christian Louboutin spam in its GonzoBanker feed, digital security has been promoted to Industry Enemy No. 1. And this battle will be waged far, far into the future.
