A series of videos from Bank of America, released this week, features a talking llama that wants you to “llove” your BofA app. The videos feature a deadpan llama describing his mobile app in various absurd situations, such as an alien visitation. Aliens cavort in the background while llama priases the BofA app for alerting him to unusual activity on his account.
A “llove your app” page has been set up to support the campaign, which spans 15 videos. The campaign officially began in April, a bank spokeswoman said.
More than two-thirds of U.S. adult internet users access digital banking, according to a May report from eMarketer. And 81% of digital banking users now use mobile banking. BofA now counts more than 20 million mobile banking users. Its iOS app was last updated August 4, and its Android app was updated July 28.
