At the Gartner Data Center Conference held in Las Vegas this past December, Kin Lee-Yow, GM of Gateway Services & Director of Technology Infrastructure for Moneris Solutions, presented a case study on transaction monitoring and the importance of knowing how POS, ATM or other self-service payment applications are performing in the eyes of the end customer.
For those of you who were unable to attend the Gartner event, you might be interested in this complementary webinar.
INETCO invites you to join Kin Lee-Yow, as he recaps how Moneris Solutions and their back-end payment processing partner, the Royal Bank of Canada, use business transaction management software to collaboratively manage end-to-end transaction performance for over 350,000 merchant locations.
INETCO’s VP of Marketing, Marc Borbas, will also provide a demonstration of INETCO Insight®, and explain how this agentless transaction monitoring solution can be used to harness end customer experience analytics across all critical POS, ATM and other self-service channels.

Deposit insurance hasn’t increased since 1980. Either the government offers meaningful insurance or not. The argument that an increase would create greater moral hazard is hard for me to understand. It appears that the detractors of an increase are saying, the nation was OK with the level of moral hazard in 1980, but not with moral hazard of relatively equal strength in 2008? After all, an adjustment for inflation would put the insurance level at about $250,000 today. This article makes it clear a higher deposit insurance would help only a small number of people and small businesses, but that seems beside the point. Deposit insurance bolsters support in our banking system. Keeping the insurance level at pace with inflation keeps confidence in the banking system at pace with the times. And in these times, banks need all the confidence they can get.
