Celebrity Lindsay Lohan has faded from the tabloid headlines a bit, and shifted her focus to … banking innovation?
The actress, known for such films as The Parent Trap (1998), Mean Girls (2004) and The Canyons (2012), is a Twitter follower of financial services writers Brett King, Jim Marous, Ron Shevlin, not to mention SunTrust, the Federal Reserve, MasterCard, Citi, Credit Suisse and Visa — a host of financial services companies including, yes, Bank Innovation. (Our blushes.)
The interest apparently was spurred by a less-than-savory experience with Bank of America. She recently took to Twitter recently to upbraid Bank of America (who else?) for difficulties with her account.
@BofA_Help why can’t I get someone on the phone for my own funds?

The bank responded with aplomb:
@lindsaylohan Hi, Lindsay. Please DM your zip, phone & best time to reach you so I can call to discuss your concerns. ^am

Clever way to get a phone number, eh?
Lindsay, DM us, too. We might not be able to help you with BofA, but we’re happy to schmooze.
