INV Fintech, this site’s sister accelerator that is run in association with Fiserv, is announcing three new members of the current class. These companies are joining at the Associate level, and will go through a slightly less intensive program than the class’s full members, but will still interact with Fiserv, the partner financial institutions, and INV mentors. The companies are:
- Bankify offers a social wallet to help friends jointly manage finances
- Honeycomb Credit lets customers support their favorite businesses — and their communities — by lending them money
- Jelli is a budgeting and planning tool utilizing “jars” to collect funds for different purposes: vacations, gifts, and large purchases
These companies join the third class of INV Fintech, composed of Coverhero, EMTransfer, Finspace, Surong360, and Taplend.
The companies were chosen as part of a comprehensive review process that involved INV’s partners, and feature original takes on budgeting, social finance, and small-business lending.
INV is a global, virtual accelerator, which is what allows INV to host companies from not just Silicon Valley, but across the world. (For example, Bankify is based in Helsinki, Finland, while Jelli and Honeycomb Credit are U.S.-based.) All startups in the current class have the opportunity to demo at a members-only event that is held in conjunction with Bank Innovation 2018 in San Francisco next March.
Applications are being accepted for the next class here.
