JPMorgan Chase has created a new mobile app for younger users, specifically those who don’t currently live near a Chase bank branch.
The app, dubbed ‘Finn’ by the bank, allows customers to perform all of the daily banking tasks one would perform in a branch: users can open a bank account, track their spending, create savings accounts, and issue checks.
Users can also receive Finn debit cards to withdraw cash.
The app is made to appeal to younger users, looking for a more efficient, “low-stress” method of managing their money, according to Chase, which interviewed approximately 250 millennials in July 2016 before creating the app.
As of now, Chase is starting off a trial of the app for Apple users in St. Louis—the bank has no branches in that city. It will expand Finn into other cities, as well as to Android users within the next year, the bank told Reuters.
