Two and a half years after its launch, fintech startup Revolut has reached an important milestone: the digital banking startup now has one million customers across Europe.
The majority of the London-based startup’s users are based in the United Kingdom, but the fintech also has over 150,000 users in France, and more than 50,000 users in countries including Germany and Ireland, according to Revolut. The startup also has 60,000 users residing in the Baltics.
Revolut is now signing between 3,000 and 3,5000 new users a day, according to the fintech, which represents a 50% growth from its customer acquisition rates three months ago.
So far, the fintech has saved its customers $160 million in foreign exchange fees.
