Retail giant Walmart announced today the launch of a global money transfer service called Walmart2World.
The Walmart2World service is extension of its U.S.-based money transfer service, it launched in 2014, where customers could transfer money at lower fees. This global service will be rolled out to 200 countries and was created in partnership with MoneyGram International.
The transfer service will have lower fees and competitive exchange rates, and can be completed in less than 10 minutes.
Walmart VP, Kirsty Ward, said in a statement today:

Walmart2World, Powered by MoneyGram helps customers get money to family and friends across the world in minutes, and the new low fees mean more of their hard-earned cash goes where it’s needed most.
