NatWest Bank, the fully-owned subsidiary of RBS, today has rolled out its mobile app that allows its business clients to monitor card transactions in real-time.
The app is ClearSpend app and was created in partnership with Silicon Valley fintech, SpendLabs.
ClearSpend will let entire NatWest Commercial Cards network clients link to the card processor, enabling them to see transactions such as real-time balance and credit limit information.
Alison Rose, CEO of Commercial and Private Banking at NatWest, said in a statement today:
Administering a commercial card programmed can be ineffective and time consuming, as customers do not always have access to the up to date information businesses need and customers are often required to call a help desk to make simple account changes. ClearSpend aims to solve that problem.
