Southeast Asian ride-hailing app Grab has launched today in Cambodia, partnering with the country’s top mobile banking services provider to integrate local drivers for payments.
On Wednesday, Grab announced it has partnered with Cambodia’s Wing Money. Additionally, Grab has also introduced a payment feature called GrabPay in the country so that customers can use the app to make cashless payments for their rides.
Aside from on-demand transportation, Grab has played an importnat role in the cashless effort in many Southeast Asian countries.
The news of its Cambodian launch comes weeks after the on-demand transportation app, Grab announced that it received approval for a license to provide mobile payment services in Malaysia.
