Value Payment Systems, a Nashville, Tenn.-based e-payments company, topped all financial services companies in Inc.com’s 2013 survey of the 5000 fastest growing companies in the United States. It was ranked #7 overall.
The company posted a three-year growth figure of 17,400% — not too shabby — and annual revenue of $25.5 million.
The #1 company was El Segundo, Calif.-based Fuhu, which makes, among other things, a fuzzy tablet computer designed for children. It’s grown 42,100% over the past three years, and its revenue is $117.9 million.
260 financial services companies made the list in all. Notable innovators on the list include the following companies.
