Swiss software company, Crealogix is acquiring the artificial intelligence (AI) technology of Koemei for an undisclosed amount.
Koemei’s AI technology will enable Crealogix to automatically covert its audio and video content into text data for analytics and optimization, making it “easier to exploit multimedia content,” Crealogix said in Monday’s announcement.
Crealogix creates software for financial institutions. It trades on the Swiss Stock Exchange under the symbol CLXN. On Tuesday, it has a market capitalization of $134 million.
According to Crealogix’s Monday announcement:
Koemei developed a scalable platform for handling large multimedia datasets, the cross-media search and audio and video content analytics. From autumn 2017, the technology will complement the range of products offered by the provider of digital banking and learning service. With this integration, ever-increasing volumes of data can be made available to users quickly.
